JT’s newest movie, “In Time,” started in theatres 10/28. I had plans to see it that night, but between getting sick and dealing with snow in October, I didn’t get to go this weekend. Now I have to wait until THIS Friday (11/4) and it’s killing me! (See Reasons #69, 86 & 96)
I’ll get to see JT on the big screen in 4 days.. but that’s 7 days later than I planned!
Reason #125 why I should meet JT on The Ellen DeGeneres Show: I needed the perfect, JT-inspired outfit to wear to the JT & Friends concert in Vegas. A fedora and my William Rast shirt was just the thing! (See Reason #s 17 & 114)
I’d like to think JT would have approved of my concert outfit.
I threw all my change into the fountain at the Miracle Mile in Vegas, since the money goes to Shriners Hospitals for Children this month (JT’s golf tournament & concert sponsored Shriners!).
I appreciate that JT supports a good cause, like raising money for Shriners.
Reason #123 why I should meet JT on The Ellen DeGeneres Show: In Vegas, I taught a bartender about all about JT’s tequila, 901. He asked if we could get 901 near where I’m from, so I told him we make trips to CT to pick it up (See Reason #5). When he asked, “What’s next, 902 Tequila?” I explained that 901 is the Memphis area code (JT’s hometown). He had no idea!
I knew more about JT’s tequila than a Vegas bartender… but I was more than happy to tell him ALL about 901!
In true Vegas tradition (See Reason #112), I roamed the halls of Planet Hollywood in search of JT. I figured he’d be on the 51st floor, which you supposedly need a key to get to, but we got up there anyway! But sadly, there were no JT sightings.
Since JT was performing at Planet Hollywood, I hoped he was staying there, too –
maybe one of these halls or doors led to his suite!
We dubbed the night before we left for our Vegas trip “Vegas Eve.” My sister wrote up a poem that parodies The Night Before Christmas all about our trip and JT! (“The wolf pack” is a nickname for our group of Vegas-loving friends.)
We were SO excited about our Vegas trip for the JT & Friends concert. It felt like Christmas Eve!

Time for a JT-filled Vegas vacation! IwannameetJT will be back on 10/5 with Reason #121!
Wanna know what happens in Vegas? Follow me on twitter for the latest updates: @iwannameetjt
This Saturday will be my third JT & Friends benefit concert – can’t wait to see what Vegas has in store for me this time! (See Reasons #3, 12, 27, 112, 115, 119)
A Vegas vacation full of JT? The possibilities are endless!
I told my sister that if I could meet JT or win big in Vegas, I’d pick JT. Then I realized if I won a ton of money, I’d be able to do whatever I wanted – including meet JT!! It’s a win-win, really.
If I play my cards right in Vegas, the first thing I’d do with the money is buy meet & greet tickets or arrange a meeting with JT. Wish me luck!
My emails have still gone unanswered, so I took my campaign to meet JT to the next level and ordered some postcards I designed. As soon as I get them, they’ll be on their way to The Ellen Show – one for every reason!
I can’t wait until my custom postcards arrive and I can send them off to Ellen!
I entered the raffle to meet JT in Vegas, but sadly I didn’t win (See Reason #111). Thanks to all my friends & family who gifted tickets to me! At least I’ll still see JT in concert soon.
Looks like this wax statue from Reason #3 is the closest I’ll ever get to meeting the REAL JT.
Come on, Ellen- please help me out!
JT and I are both animal lovers. He tweeted that if his house was on fire, his dogs would be the first thing he would grab. I’d grab my dog Sammy first too! (See Reason #s 73,95,97 & 99)
I think it’s great that JT loves his dogs as much as I love Sammy.
I’ve always had a connection with JT and Vegas! My first trip there was on a family vacation when I was 15. We stayed at the MGM Grand, and NSYNC was performing there one night. I walked the halls of every floor of the hotel with my sister in hopes of catching a glimpse of JT. Here’s to hoping I’ll see him up close in 2 weeks!
I didn’t run into JT when he was in Vegas with NSYNC. Maybe in 2 weeks, I’ll finally get my chance!
I bought raffle tickets for Justin Timberlake's Shriners Hospitals for Children Raffle to meet JT in Vegas! All the proceeds go to Shriners, so it’s a great cause. I would DIE if I won!! This is Reason #111, so let’s hope it brings me EXTRA luck. :)
You can GIFT raffle tickets to IwannameetJT! If you’d like to help, you can do so here: http://www.celebritiesforcharity.org/raffle/justin-timerblakes-shriners-hospitals-for-children-raffle using my email: iwannameetJT@gmail.com. Thanks!
If I win a chance to meet JT in Vegas, October 1, 2011 will be the greatest day of my life.
Even though I’m not a huge tennis fan, I watched the U.S. Open this year because I heard JT was in attendance. I just wanted to catch a glimpse of him!
JT was at the U.S. Open this year, fedora and all! Maybe if they changed the tennis term “love” to “lovestoned,” I’d watch more matches.
I’m so excited to see JT back in the music scene! Aside from his concert in NYC to promote National 901 Day (see Reason #108) , he’s also in the new FreeSol video for “Hoodies On, Hats Low.” I’ve had it on repeat lately!
FreeSol is signed under JT’s label, Tennman Records. I love their new video & the song is so catchy!
I tried to win tickets to JT’s National 901 Day concert in NYC. I packed a bag to bring to work and knew the train schedule for that day, just in case I had to leave early from RI to get there in time!
I would have had to drop everything at work and hop the next train to NYC if I won JT tickets. But staying late every night to make up for it would be SO worth it!
I entered the SNL 2011-12 season tickets lottery, just in the hopes that I’ll get tickets if JT is on. I love SNL *AND* JT, after all! (See Reasons #20, 70, 71, 80, 81 & 89)
Seeing a live taping of SNL would be awesome, but if JT was there, I know I’d freak out (I could barely handle a studio tour that TALKED about him!).
While I was searching for some JT on the radio (see Reason #105), one station played a clip of “Rock Your Body” as part of a promotional ad. I got SO excited, and then SO sad when I realized it wasn’t the whole song.
Using a classic JT song as part of an ad is great, but hearing a 5-second clip of it was just a tease.
I wanted to hear some JT in my sister’s car, but he wasn’t on any of the local radio stations. I popped in a random mix CD I made her in ’08, and the first track was JT & Madonna’s “4 Minutes.”
Of course JT would be the first song on a CD I made for my sister years ago…
If imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, consider me bowled over. My IwannameetJT campaign has gotten so big over these last 6 months, people are starting to copycat it to meet other celebs!
Ellen’s audience member, Donna, looks like Ellen’s long-lost twin. The IwannameetJT campaign has had its share of lookalikes lately, too: fans trying to meet other celebs!
My neighbor got married on Saturday. It was a great outdoor ceremony, and she looked beautiful! But of course, the reception was not complete until I requested JT and rocked out to SexyBack with the newlyweds.
My neighbor, the bride, told me I could request all the JT I wanted at the reception – dangerous!
I bought my tickets on Saturday to the JT & Friends benefit concert in Vegas on 10/1. I even guessed the presale password so I could score my tix the minute the first ones went on sale!
The countdown begins: only 46 days until my 3rd JT & Friends Benefit concert in Vegas!
Ellen DeGeneres is in Boston today AND I was supposed to have the day off, but I had to switch it because things at work here in RI are so busy. I’m SO bummed I can’t see her at Quincy Market and tell her about my dream to meet JT on her show – seems like I’m always just missing her & JT (see Reasons #12, 27, 40 & 68)! Here’s hoping she stops off in little Rhody!
Every time I get close to seeing Ellen or JT, it never works out. Wish I could be at Quincy Market today more than anything (well, except for meeting JT on The Ellen Show, of course!)
The sole fact that I’ve written 100 LETTERS to The Ellen Show and counting to convince you that I should meet JT. That in itself is dedication, isn’t it?!
My mission to meet the man who brought sexy back is in the triple digits. Come on – when’s the last time you had 100 reasons to do ANYTHING??
JT performed a second “History of Rap” with Jimmy Fallon on his show on 7/19. I’ve been known to bust out all the lyrics to rap artists from Salt n’ Pepa to Tupac!
It’s nice to know JT appreciates Salt n’ Pepa’s “Push It” as much as I do! (see 2:18 into the clip)
In “Friends with Benefits,” JT’s character calls his sister Annie “Banannie.” I call my dog Sammy the same thing (it comes from Sammy Bananas, because he can get so hyper)!
JT and I even use the same pet names: him for his FWB sister, and me for my dog!
JT’s newest movie, “Friends with Benefits,” starts in theatres today! Guess where I’ll be tonight? (It’s tradition! See Reasons #69, 86)
JT was great in "Bad Teacher," but he’s one of the main characters in FWB – and that means even MORE JT! (At the NYC premiere 7/18, Courtesy of Just Jared)
Sometimes when I go to work, I leave my “Best of JT” playlist on repeat for my dog Sammy to listen to, because I know that’s what I’d want to hear! Besides, he already knows ALL about JT. (See Reasons #16, 75)
My Boston terrier, Sammy, has known all about JT since day one!
In a recent interview with ELLE Magazine, JT said a game of Scrabble would be a great first date activity. It’s one of my favs – I’m a total Words with Friends app addict!
“Scrabble's a good date. If she can't spell, I don't want to hang out with her. So that's a good test.” –JT in ELLE, August 2011
At the MLB All-Star Game, JT said beer was his favorite ballpark food: “Beer goes with the hot dog, it goes with nachos, it goes with peanuts.” I have to agree – if there’s one thing I can’t go without at Fenway, it’s an ice cold brew. Mmm!
“Beer is perfect. Beer never got mad at me because I never called beer back!” –JT , July 12, 2011
After JT convinced her, Mila Kunis agreed to attend the U.S. Marine Corp Ball with Sgt. Scott Moore, who made a YouTube video for her. (Now Cpl. Kelsey De Santis has asked JT to be HER date!) If Mila can help out a big fan, maybe JT can do the same for me (and Kelsey!)
After Marine Sgt. Scott Moore asked Mila Kunis to be his date, Cpl. Kelsey De Santis moved in on JT. I hope we BOTH get to meet him!
JT is presenting the Capital One Cup at the ESPYs tonight at 9pm ET. Even though I like sports, I don’t care too much about the awards. Even still, you know I’ll be watching just to see JT!
JT’s Capital One video promoting the ESPYs is hysterical – and with his golf background, I’m sure he’ll be a great presenter.
The NSYNC “Home for Christmas” album is just about the only Christmas music I like. JT singing a little “Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays” is all it takes to get me in the spirit – even in July!
Christmas in July would be a great party theme – of course, JT would be the soundtrack!

IwannameetJT is going on vacation! See you all on 7/11 with Reason #90 (can you believe it??)!
Reason #89 why I should meet JT on The Ellen DeGeneres Show: I’ve started up a new DVR collection of JT recordings, starting with the SNL finale (see Reasons #20, 63,70). I even put a lock on them so they can’t be accidentally deleted.
I may have lost my recording of JT’s “Single Ladies” skit, but now I have the SNL season finale saved to watch over and over!
JT is taking an ownership stake in MySpace. In a media release, JT said, “I’m excited to help revitalize MySpace by using its social media platform to bring artists and fans together in one community.” I deleted my profile on the site years ago, but if JT brings sexy back to MySpace, I just may have to make a new one! http://bit.ly/lxO8n3
MySpace used to be so popular! Maybe JT will channel Sean Parker and bring it back to its pre-Facebook glory...
I read somewhere JT's favorite foods are cereal and pasta. If that's true, those are favs of mine too! Just one more thing we have in common.
Pasta is pretty straightforward, but I wonder what JT’s favorite cereal is – something serious (Raisin Bran), traditional (Cheerios), or a little wacky (Fruit Loops)?
Our NBC Studios tour guide was describing the makeup dept. of SNL and told a little story about JT as an example. Before I could stop myself, I let out an “OOH!” as soon as she said his name. Everyone in my tour group just looked at me. Oops!
JT had a ton of hair & makeup changes when he hosted SNL. I got to hear all about it on the NBC Studios tour (even if I got a little *too* excited)!
While I was in NYC, I took a tour of NBC Studios so I could see the set of SNL. JT was the last celebrity host on that stage! I could just see him walking through the halls of the network – sigh.
JT’s most recent hosting of SNL was the show’s highest episode rating in a long time – and I’m not surprised!
I ordered a 901-derful at Southern Hospitality. It’s made with Justin’s tequila and was the only drink description that mentioned JT by name. In case you were wondering, it lived up to its name! Since SH put the drink recipe online, I can even make it at home!
The 901-derful was the perfect thirst quencher on a Sunday afternoon.
My trip to Justin’s 2nd Southern Hospitality locale yesterday was a success. I wanted to buy a t-shirt and some shot glasses, but they had NO souvenirs in stock!! Bummer. :(
I would have loved a SH t-shirt or shot glass, but a waitress told me they were all out of both for the next few weeks.
I enjoyed my visit to JT’s restaurant, Southern Hospitality, SO much (see Reasons #46, 66, 67), that I’m heading to NYC with my sister just to eat at the second location this weekend. Then I can say I’ve been to ALL of JT’s eateries!
JT has been in NYC a lot lately – and taking pics with fans (like this girl)! Maybe I’ll run into him on Sunday. I can dream, right?!
I got my puppy last Friday! Though I didn’t end up naming him after JT (see Reason #73), I DID tell him he’d be hearing a lot of JT music in his life. I even pointed out to him when JT’s music was playing in my car. I know he’ll end up loving JT, too!
I told my new puppy, Sammy, all about JT.

IwannameetJT is going on vacation! See you all on 6/1 with Reason #75!
I seize every opportunity to listen to a JT song (see Reasons #53, 57, 62). Last weekend, I requested to hear SexyBack when I went bowling with a group of friends, then started a dance party in the middle of our bowling lanes.
JT has always loved bowling. It was only right that I request to hear his music in between frames!
I’ve been brainstorming names for my soon-to-be puppy, and I have tons of JT-related names on the list (like Memphis and Frankie). I can’t pick a final name just yet, but the fact that I’d consider naming my dog after JT shows some serious commitment.
I have a lot of puppy names I love. Of course, a lot of them have to do with JT (who I also love!).
My ringtone is JT’s “SexyBack.” I love it so much, I always let it play a little bit before I answer the call. I figure if I let it go too long and miss it, they’ll call back if it’s important!
I take full advantage of any opportunity to rock out to JT – even if it’s just a 30-second ringtone.
